Amazon Double-Dipping

I bought a book for class a while back and it's been sitting on my shelf while I have to keep borrowing books from the library only to have dipshits recall them instead of getting them from another library where they're probably gathering dust. But that's a different topic.

So I sign up to sell it at Amazon and right at the f**ing end I find out they want $11+ out of $60+ ... that's 20% you (Amazon/Bezos) assholes! And I bought the book new from you so you probably already made 20%+ ... How much did you pay the publisher and how much did the publisher pay the authors who lost their minds over it.

Where the f** is the Napster equivalent for shit like this! It's coming, it's coming .. and don't you greedy f**ers whine then ...

NATO kërkon të shohë që Shqipëria ka një program reformash, që është i përqafuar nga të tërë",- tha DiKarlo

In a gist, Rosemary DiCarlo, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, said that "NATO wants to see that Albania has a program of reforms that is embraced by everyone" !!! Ok so it doesn't sound too crazy now does it? Well, the country this lady represents has not had consensus on ANYTHING for as long as it's been in existence. And since I get my news from The Daily Show with Jon Stewart - a few days back Congress could not even agree to DISCUSS a particular item .. let alone agree on the item itself .. And now the US demands that everyone agree on the REFORMS before Albania is considered for NATO membership. These are reforms godamnit .. and plenty of people have every right to oppose them ... Well enough with the carrot ... show us the stick! This administration seems to be able to do at least that well.

US Senate to consider draft bill in support of Adriatic Charter countries' NATO bids

WASHINGTON, United States -- A draft bill backing offers of NATO membership to Georgia, Albania, Croatia and Macedonia was submitted to the US Senate on Tuesday (February 6th). The document was prepared by Republicans Richard Lugar and John McCain, along with Democrat Joseph Biden. The draft resolution suggests that accepting the four countries in NATO would strengthen security and stability in Europe, and stipulates the exact amount of US financial assistance each would receive to help implement defence and political reforms. Se pari 'why'.

I'm fed up with the newspaper bullshit - both Albanian and otherwise. I want to say exactly what I want to say when I want to say it. "Mergata e Qyqeve" is loosely translated as "The Migration of the Owls" but the connotation is more along the lines of the community of the migrated owls.

Se dyti 'what'.

Anything and everything. I'm Albanian - Jam Shqiptar! and therefore it may end up being all about Albania. From the perspective of a "qyqe e merguar" - so there will be a lot of bitching about all the bullshit we all go through. And the bullshit all the ones we left behind go through.

Se treti 'how'.

However you want it. Say it in English, thuaje ne Shqip, say it anyhow. It is what it is, we are who we are - it's a messed up world. Fol Shqip! Yes, but I've made it a point as far back as I can remember to not speak Albanian in the presence of someone else who does not understand it.

To each his own. Vive le difference!
